Position: Senior Consultant, Investigations
Deloitte's team of Forensic professionals investigate a wide range of business misconduct and deliver clear, logical analyses and reports. We apply a variety of quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze and mitigate alleged incidents of wrongdoing, identify the participants, secure evidence, locate/recover misappropriated assets and bring about a timely resolution to financial litigation. We advise clients and their counsel by identifying, investigating and resolving financial irregularities and other behaviours resulting in financial, reputational and/or regulatory risk. The Forensic team also works with clients and their counsel to address complex and unexpected business disputes and associated litigation as well as computer forensic and e-discovery matters.

Our Santiago practice is growing and we are seeking a talented Senior Consultant, Investigations to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, Investigations, Deloitte Forensic you will:
• Work collaboratively as part of a diverse team of accountants, lawyers, investigators, IT specialists and other team members
• Collect and analyze relevant business evidence under the direction of the Senior Manager of Investigations;
• Prepare and document forensic interviews;
• Assist in the preparation of client deliverables including reports and presentations;
• Cultivate and maintain valued relationships with clients and key contacts as well as build new client relationships;
• Learn and share advanced investigative knowledge;
• Contribute, as a team member, to practice growth and development in the area of Investigations;

We are seeking the best and the brightest individuals. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics as job requirements:
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in business, economics, criminology, or a related field is required;
• Prior and recent experience in financial reporting and internal controls
• Experience with planning, evidence gathering related to accounting and business records, interviews, and report writing
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence;
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams;
• Superior verbal and written communication skills;
• Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving with strong attention to detail;
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities;
• Certified Fraud Examiner or other post graduate studies in fraud is considered an asset;
• Proficiency in English language is considered an asset, and
• A post-graduation degree such as an MBA will be considered an asset;
